Hi, I’m Sydney. I’m an EMDR-trained therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA), and Certified Trauma Professional (CTP).
I care deeply about helping people get through difficult times, better understand themselves, and feel more like themselves again. I work with individuals experiencing trauma, OCD, anxiety, grief, depression, low self-esteem, and a variety of other mental health concerns. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting adolescents, teens, and adults, and I strive to meet each person exactly where they are with an approach that is compassionate, flexible, and grounded in the whole person.
I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and have spent the past 8 years working in the mental health field. My experience includes therapeutic crisis intervention, consultation, dual diagnosis treatment, individual counseling, and intensive outpatient group counseling.
In therapy, I use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and somatic healing practices. Together, we can explore the roots of your pain, build practical tools for healing, and work toward greater peace, self-understanding, and overall wellness.
In our sessions, you can expect a genuine, laid-back, and supportive space where you feel seen, valued, and heard. I believe therapy works best when it’s built on trust, honesty, compassion, and room for real moments—including laughter. While therapy can involve hard and meaningful work, I also believe humor can be healing and can help make the process feel a little more human.
