Hi, I'm Sidney! I'm a licensed social worker in Ohio with a deep passion for supporting individuals—especially adolescents, teens, and young adults—as they navigate the complexities of life. I hold bachelor's degrees in Psychology, Child and Family Studies, and Art Therapy, as well as a Master’s in Social Work from Miami University. My academic and professional journey has been rooted in understanding the emotional, developmental, and relational experiences that shape us, especially during the most formative years.

I’ve worked extensively with young people facing a wide range of challenges—from anxiety, depression, and trauma to issues of identity, relationships, and academic or social pressure. These years can be overwhelming and confusing, but they’re also full of potential for growth, insight, and resilience. My role is to provide a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, seen, and supported exactly as they are.

I believe that effective therapy starts with connection. That’s why I take a client-centered, collaborative approach—working alongside each person to understand their unique experiences, strengths, and goals. My style is warm, open, and grounded in empathy. I incorporate a blend of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Trauma-Informed Care. I also integrate creative and mindfulness-based techniques when helpful, meeting clients where they are and tailoring each session to what they need most.

In our work together, we’ll focus on building emotional regulation skills, increasing self-awareness, and identifying unhelpful patterns that may be keeping you stuck. We’ll explore how to set boundaries, manage stress, build healthier relationships, and reconnect with your inner strengths. I believe therapy is not just about coping—it’s about learning how to thrive, even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.

Starting therapy can be intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. But you don’t have to figure it all out alone. My commitment is to walk beside you with care, curiosity, and respect, helping you move toward greater self-understanding, healing, and personal growth. Whether you're facing something specific or just feeling stuck, uncertain, or emotionally drained, you deserve a space to feel supported and empowered.

If you're ready to take the next step, I’m here to support you on that journey—with compassion, honesty, and encouragement every step of the way.
