HI! I’m Amanda, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) guiding clients as they heal and grow toward a fulfilling life in the here and now. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and a Registered Yoga Teacher with 200 hours of training (RYT-200). My background in yoga informs my approach to therapy. By focusing on the mind-body connection, I guide the exploration of how thoughts and feelings manifest physically.

I enjoy working with adults aged 21 and older who may feel stuck or at a crossroads, yearning to reconnect with their authentic selves. By practicing compassionate curiosity and focusing on the integral relationship between mind and body, we can navigate issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief together.

In sessions, you can expect an empathic and genuine space to talk through past, present, or future issues or to engage in mindfulness and somatic practices like guided imagery, deep breathing, or movement. Sometimes these practices can be difficult or feel awkward. I will meet you where you are. Ultimately, you will always have the power to say "no thank you" if an approach isn’t serving you.

I aim to increase security and connection by fostering our therapeutic relationship throughout our time together. Whether you are grappling with the weight of past traumas or feel immobilized by anxiety and depression, I will provide a secure space for exploration and growth. By fostering self-compassion and encouraging curiosity, clients can feel empowered, cultivate resilience, and embrace their inherent value.
